Four Wheel Drive is a band that exists to play live. They deliver what can only be described as a relentless onslaught of good time, balls out Rock 'n' Roll. Ben Austwick and Paddy Achtelik provide rhythm guitar interplay that constantly bombards the audience from both sides of the stage. Ben also hits you with incendiary, gut-wrenching, blues-based lead guitar and Paddy slips 'n' slides with his distinctive 'Sky Dog'-esque bottleneck.

The rhythm section generates a force capable of knocking down walls, yet with enough control to retain the R 'N' B feel of '70s Aerosmith and Rolling Stones. Powerhouse-drummer Will Richards is the engine of Four Wheel Drive. With his equally forceful and skilful drumming, he sets the pace and lays down the groove show after show, night after night.

The band has been clocked at close to 120 decibels in rehearsals, almost earning the Guitar Institute their first ASBO!

This musical force of nature is topped and led by Jamie's vocals. Switching between a sleazy drawl and a ball-busting scream, the vocals compliment both the Rhythm 'n' Blues and Rock elements of the band. Tightly rehearsed vocal harmonies add an extra dimension to the songs, giving the live performances the same depth as the recordings.

The band has gigged furiously over the past two years and has toured to Ireland, Germany and the Czech Republic. In doing this, they have built up a loyal following at a high pace.

After one year of being together the band saw the completion of their debut album 'High Roller' which has been met with an extremely positive reaction from fans and press alike. Five months later the band shot their first music video for debut single 'White Lines', which was produced by Sara Harding (Download and Sonisphere producer for Channel 4). After a packed house show at the 100 Club, Oxford Street, London to reveal the video to the fans and industry the band received further praise from press and fans alike.

Mohican Records along with KFG and The Little House are working towards a big gig in Feltham just to show just how many bands there are in Feltham and West London we are working towards this being the first of many gigs that will help promote the music of West london, we also want Fans and bands to get involved and make this event one to remember, this will be a gig that people will make up stories about having been too.

Mohican Records are now working with KGF to get bands the gigs they need to get exposure, at Mohican Records we have been busy setting up the studio and working on our own small venue but this is not always enought to get the bands the gigs they need to build a fan base and as ever our intrest is to make sure the bands are getting the gigs in London, so we are happy to announce that we will be working with local lads Chris and Matt  of KGF to help provide gigs and equipment and to support the artists as well as creatting our own London gig circuit.

Mohican Records are delighted to have launched an IPhone app that will allow users to get the latest info on artists signed to the label and the latest gig news and much more information from the Labels lastest releases, we will also be adding a music section so you try tracks before you buy the app also works with the ITunes store if you wish to purchase tracks.

Mohican Records have allways been great believers in the use of modern tecknology to get our music out to fans, we also beleive that we have managed to get our app live before the major labels flood the market.

Mohican Records see this new app as another way our fans can interact with the label, we have always been keen on taking our fans very seriously and letting them be part of the the label just as much as the fans from our bands.

It's been a bit of a year but we are still here, we are looking forward as ever with the opening of our studio and rehersal space and small venue.
We became part of The Little House Project a not for proffit company hopefully we won't be getting the hassle we had from uk tax and companies house harresment and we will go doing the things bands need for success, but we can not forget it's the fans that keep us lot going, we have allways said we have never been in it for the money but it does cost to keep running.
