The Maryland Jockey Club today announced that Hotspur will open for Grammy Award winners Train and Bruno Mars on the main stage for the Preakness InfieldFEST concert on Saturday, May 21 in the Pimlico Race Course public Infield prior to the running of the $1 million Preakness® Stakes.

Expect us to make this concert one to remember....mwahaha

In addition to the main stage, the day-long multi-celebration festival experience will feature live music on the Jägermeister stage with Phil Vassar, Puddle of Mudd andMr. Greengenes.Preakness InfieldFEST 2011 also includes a beer garden, bikini contest, cornhole tournament, NVL Pro Volleyball Tour and a Wagering 101 tent with expert advisors from Horse Player NOW (www.horseplayernow.com) on-site, providing betting suggestions for the entire 13-race Preakness day card. For more information visit www.theinfieldfest.com.

InfieldFEST tickets will be $40 in advance through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) and the Preakness Ticket Sales Office (410-542-9400) and $50 during Preakness week. The popular MUG Club returns, offering fans a bottomless mug all day long for an all-inclusive price of $20.

Hey East Coast--we've got a few new shows posted, check em out!  Just announced--Hotspur will be headlining this years MOBTOWN MUSIC FEST on April 30 at Bourbon Street in Baltimore.   This is a HUGE show with some amazing Baltimore bands on it and will definitely be a night to remember.  If you wanna help promote the show we're having a Street Team meeting this Saturday, April 2 at Bourbon Street.  Go to the facebook event for more details, see u all there!

We have a bunch of shows coming up that we could really use your help spreading the word about, and we'll have some promo materials and other goodies to give you guys!

We'll also be premiering some brand new songs that we've been working on to get your thoughts and give you the inside scoop! We'll start gathering in the food court at 3pm, and around 3:30 we'll be heading out to a secret location to play the music for you guys. Hey guys, we've been in the Hotspur studio for the last several months, writing, recording, hanging out, rehearsing, and doing all of the nonsense we do in the studio and it has been a blast as aways! We can't wait to show you more new tunes.  But we also have a bunch of good shows coming up that we want to see you at!


It's been so long, and I kinda like to think of it has Hotspur Homecoming.  Please be sure to check out the Baltimore, Virginia and DC shows we have coming up.. we can't wait to reunite with you all and see your beautiful faces!  It has been tooooo long.  Tickets for the Feb 24 show in Baltimore are available at our store.

Also, if you haven't checked out our new song yet, please go to on our YouTube page!  The song is called "Last Call (While the Night is Young)", and it is the beginning of our most booty-shakin writing period to date.  It feels good to be doing something a little more light-hearted, fun and ear-tickling and we really hope you guys like it!  Don't be afraid to let us know what you think!
