speaking of an expensive association, i heard a nurse in the local hospital say that if you go to Emergency Services while under the influence of a drug, you're essentially turned away.

Hospitals can't get away with choosing who to treat in big cities, what makes this island immune from making sense?

these associations i type of may actually cost my life. it's not like i'm working at dying any more than i'm working at living... one cigar over the line sweet jebus, one cult over the line...

my hatred of coercive persuasion and other forms of oppression manifests itself as happy pop music. i guess i'm gonna have to start writing VERY MEAN MEAN lyrics about lost loves and not getting laid in general. maybe some miscreant will put up with my self-indulgent heebonist pro-drug agenda. maybe not. apparently talking back to bullshit has self-esteem resembling cheap "rewards" otherwise disguised as basic living essentials, like food.

"who do you have to blow to get some blue smarties around here?" - just one of those questions that doesn't really need a response to be smart in the first place.

feeling safe in your own apt. is not an option for me from reports from the front lines.

hehehe. if you think i'm gifting through this blog, you've got a bit of a cruel surprise waiting for you-- i'm planning to live long enough to cause some major trouble. the trick is to charge people admission rather than imposing my, ahem, street theatre of the absurd on a non-paying, uninterested audience. this makes more sense.

getting permission to have sex? doesn't that kind of kill the mood?

getting permission to start a war? much more honorable 'cause "they" are cramping our style.

but can a deranged mind actually give permission to be violated? i mean they're like, crazy and probably enjoy this sort of thing anyways. (sp) i probably made you do all those bad things... with my brane. nice thing about deranged people is they're easy to victimize with out that dreaded credibility to get in the way. whew! close one.

almost thought western medicine was in danger of being dismantled in favor of cherry cheery leeches with BAD ATTITUDES. being a lesbian in the 1970's was reason enough to be tortured by electro-shock therapy upteen times. then 80's porn came along and lo and behuld --- hey we were so wrong, is it ok if we, er, watch? i miss the "no-violence" stickers on porn movies that were all the rage back when i was young and impressionable. i guess the idea was stuck in my head (like a blue smartie) just not between my teeth. angina dentata's

feeling pretty down. little things are having disproportionate effects on my security and happiness. diminished expectations.
scared to write a new album, afraid it will be the last for me.

i don't like going to sleep every nite because my dreams are about a lack of safety and known things. i'm tired when i wake up.

facebook is really good for me, i'm in touch with friends past and present. i am so lucky to have such a supportive group of people around me. i'm always learning.


i'm finding it difficult to keep all the balls in the air. i've fallen behind on so many things. too much to do, too many cigars smoked.

i have two side projects in the wings. not sure if they'll even happen.

on a more upbeat note: my latest song is in my myspace player. first song ; noted by others. i'm quite proud of it.

hi pholks,

the art damage 25th anniversary concert is happening 1 1/2 days from now, i'm trying to relax and get things done but my nerves are nervous...

just put the finishing touches on a new song that has been getting good reviews from people around me. i had some difficulty getting it to sound right, but i'm learning a lot about the software and mastering in general.

there's a bit of buzz about the show, not all due to me... people around me are helping out with promotion, the great poster for the show, drives, and more. this really blows me away because i've been at this alone for a long time... having people come to me wanting to help signifies that i've "made it" in certain ways.

i've heard that i'm sitting on quite a bit of good music, and that it just needs wider exposure to be successful. i hope that's right!


efforts are underway to get my stuff into movies, trailers, tv, and videogames. not sure what the response will be to what i put out there but it sounds exciting.


i've had some great times and really bad times over the years.
this feels, oddly enough, like a starting point. i'm enjoying my studio so much that i feel i could make music forever and be happy no matter what the outside world's response to it was. i know from experience that the one constant is change...

anyway i'm looking forward to the show very much

i will do my best to make it worthwhile...
