Redliner has announced that after the November 6 Gobblefest show at the Cherrywood in Clementon NJ, that they will be on a hiatus.   There were plans of recording a follow up to "Vengeance" in 2011.  However, some members of the band have some other obligations and right now is a good point to take a break, reevaluate and determine the future of the band.

Redliner would like to thank everyones support and hopefully the band will be back and better than ever.

This also appears to be the last show Redliner will perform at the Cherrywood.  New owners will be taking over at the end of the year and there are no plans to keep the bar open.  So this is a huge show for the band since this was one of their favorite spots to perform.

Some of the shows they are preparing for will be a show at Dave & Busters Dockside Bar in Philadelphia.  This is a Double V presentation and show is scheduled for September 12.   Redliner will also be gearing up for two shows at Terror In The Woods in Millville NJ on October 1 and October 15.   These two events will feature Redliner for the entire evening.

More details will be coming soon for these and other events as we head towards the end of the year.  Also, details on when Redliner will hit the studio to record a follow up to Vengeance.

The band is gearing up for two more shows in June before a well deserved summer break.  Redliner has pretty much gone for 2 years without and kind or real time off.  So the time is come to relax, get the batteries recharged and get back into the swing come September.

The band has brought in Rick Drill to fill in for it's May/June shows.  Rick did a great job filling in for Steve back in March of this year and the band thought it made perfect sense to bring him back.  After the June 19 show at Hangar 84 in Vineland NJ, Redliner will be looking for a permanent bass player.  Below is the ad for anyone interested in an audition:

Redliner seeks new bass player and are getting ready to audition. We have been together since 2008 and have played all over the NJ/PA and DE area. We are an original melodic modern hard rock band. Some of our highlights have included:

- CD Vengeance received positive reviews and was played on over 40 internet and terrestrial radio stations including WYSP, WSTW, WZZO and WLFR in the area.
- Redliner was mentioned in Metal Edge Magazine (January 2009)
- Has performed with national acts Epica (along with Threat Signal) at the Trocadero and Suicide City at the Cherrywood
- Performed at Jamfest 3 last summer in Jackson NJ
- Performed at Six Flags as part of their Live and Local series
- Appeared on several radio programs (local and internet)

What we are looking for in a bass player:

- Someone between the ages of 21 and 42 years of age
- Someone who is willing to be a team player (help in the creative process, assist in promotion of shows, etc.)
- Someone who checks their ego at the door (there is no 'I' in Team)
- Willing to work on original material but also can do cover tunes as well (we have several opportunities where we are asked to play longer sets so covers would need to come into play)
- Someone who has more of a modern style (We like classic rock and 80's stuff but really looking for someone who is versed in 90's and today's modern hard rock/metal)
- Someone that has a flexible schedule. Be able to practice once a week and do two shows a month (Everyone is married in the band and has kids and we work around those schedules)

Along with a bunch of shows we will be booking in the area, we plan on going back into the studio to record a follow up to 'Vengeance'. May 11 @ North Star Bar - Philadelphia PA(contact info@redlinerrock.com ) to order your tickets.  They are $7 and this is a 21+ event.  Not All Ages as previously advertised.

June 5 @ Bridgewater Pub - Bridgeton NJ (Redliner will be performing with Zero and Abscense of Worry - NO COVER)

After the June 19 show, the members of the band plan on taking a serious summer break.  Redliner has been going pretty much non-stop since 2008 playing shows, promoting "Vengeance" and writing new material for a forthcoming CD.  The band decided it would be in the best interest to enjoy the summer, recharge the batteries and come back ready to rock in October when they travel to Millville NJ to perform at Terror In The Woods. 

Redliner will be performing at Hangar 84 in Vineland NJ on Friday, June 19.   They will be part of a show hosted by Close 2 Death and Bound By Nothing.  Other bands to appear will be No Drama, Abscense of Worry and more.   Ticket information will be coming soon.  We know that tickets will be $10 for this All Ages Show and Redliner will be on stage around 8;45pm.
