Platoons Forward is a program of the VFW that provides basic supplies to units in Afghanistan who don’t have access to Mess Halls and Post Exchanges. PLEASE BRING any of these items on their “wish lists” which include: hygiene items, prepared food, candy, snacks, ground coffee, boot socks, hand warmers, books and magazines. Donations are also accepted and are used to purchase items and ship the boxes. Donated and purchased items are immediately boxed in a flat rate priority APO box and mailed to the unit.

LipRiddle's Paul Hooker and Colin Ridge along with Brandon Miller, Terry Wright and Dillon Boyer will be performing before and after the tree lighting, backing up Lindsey Jones, Heather Thornton, Justin Stancil, Melissa Wright, Nick Nave and Chad Bourquin performing unique version of new and old Christmas songs.  This is a great all family event with lots of great shopping, kids activities and of course Santa Clause is flying in on a helicopter.
