Simcoe's premiere chamber ensemble, the Amity Trio, has been invited to return to St. Luke's 'Gift of Music' concert series this season.  This concert will take place on Sunday, December 4 at 3:00 pm at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 22 Caroline St. in Creemore.  Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance at Curiosity House Books, The Creemore Echo, or at the door.

The trio will be performing Beethoven's 'Archduke' Trio in B flat, Op.97, Schubert's 'Nocturne' in E flat major, Op.148, Haydn's Trio in F sharp minor, Hob.XV, 26 and Piazzolla's 'Winter' and 'Autumn' from 'The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.'

As with all of the Gift of Music events, following the concert, people can mingle with the musicians as well as friends old and new while enjoying complimentary refreshments.  Glowing candles softly flickering against beautiful stained glass windows and music to soothe your soul ' what better way to spend a chilly winter afternoon?
