ALLISON WEISS: THE WINTER WONDERTOUR 3

Allison Weiss (Athens, GA) is a heartfelt singer/songwriter with a quirky charm, sharp pop sensibilities, and an avid online following. 22-year-old Weiss is winning hearts across the country with her infectiously catchy songs of love and loss and her entertaining live performances. "I'm all about catchy, upbeat, feel-good music, but the one thing I seem to aways write about is heartbreak," she recently told Billboard.com, "I say [my songs] sound like your saddest memories sung to the tune of your happiest."

Weiss spent her summer recording her 3rd studio record and first full length album. Known for her innovative grassroots marketing techniques and internet presence, she raised over $7700 in donations from fans through Kickstarter.com to fund the project. Allison Weiss Was Right All Along hits the world wide web on November 24, 2009 and will be available digitally everywhere mp3s are sold, as well as physically at allisonw.com/store and at shows.

The epitome of a DIY artist, Weiss is unsigned, self-released, and self-managed. This winter she'll embark on her 7th tour, traveling to Chicago and back for eight days before Christmas. Did we mention she's doing this all during winter break from school? Dubbed the Winter Wonder Tour III, Weiss and her younger brother / guitar player AJ will acoustically rock the midwest in their quest to live the dream.
